Sculpture

walking along the streets of koregaon we found this beautiful face of Durga hanging...a really nice work with clay...

Maiestas...

it was fun treating this giant animal with tiny bananas...and I must say he was so decent in accepting those with his strong trunk...to be frank, initially I thought he would grab my hands instead :)

see how glorious he looks...

Mr. Brown says...

I am loving it...

Panning...

Panning is a great technique for action and, once perfected, the main subject will be sharp against a blurred background. The idea is to follow the subject as it passes in front of you and continue to follow it as you press the shutter and even after the shot is taken.

The shot wasn't perfect coz this was my first attempt...hope I do better next time...

Koregaon Osho Park...

just beside the International Osho Ashram, this small park takes you to a diffrent world instantly...

Camera shadow...

it would look more like a painting to me had I not been the one who took this shot...

Candle light...

somtimes, a simple candle can light up our dark nights...this is the essence of dipawali...the hindu festival of light :)

Blue sky...

a ray of light can pave its way through anything...

Do you have it in you???

while walking around the university fields, these lil monsters spot us and thought that we are from the media. You should have seen them running towards me...uncle mujhe bhi...mujhe bhi...they all shouted and wanted to get a share of the screen...and they did very beautifully indeed. I wish I had the zeal that you can see in their eyes...

Look how one of them almost closed his eyes and stretched his mouth to the limit...

Children are such godly creatures...I love them very much!!!

Stairs to heaven...

but you must first have these tasty hand picked guava...add a tinge of salt and you will keep asking for more...

Life in waste...

We spot this girl in a Wastebin...She was perplexed when she saw us. I asked her wat she was searching for, but she won't say anything. So, that was the only thing she gave - a hidden smile to tell us that she is richer than I am...

She followed us for sometime, but later got away as we were involved with other characters for photography...I wish I had a sweet in my bag...she would have loved it. But never the less, I will meet her again and then I hope to carry some wid me.

God bless her...

Papaya in the making...

These flowers would end up giving birth to big papaya's...rich in minerals and vitamins. I m watching healthy ;)

Below grass-level...

I was amazed to see that someone actually lives there...a house hidden behind the tall grass.Wat a peaceful state...

Lonely planet...

A forgotten block inside pune university...

The 60's look...

This image is recent...although the grayscale effect adds a touch of the 60's when color cameras were a luxury. The bajaj scooters behind the tree looks prehistoric as well :D

Monk in motion...

a buddhist monk past by a big banyan tree at pune university...my camera's shutter speed wasn't as fast as the asetic's cycle ride.

DRDO Park...

A beautiful park on the way to Pashan...

Prohibited area...

DRDO wont allow me to do that...
But lucky me, I took a shot even while the guards tried to stop :)

The flower that blooms...

hidden from human sight...
